Ms. Joan Weiss Stein serves as the President and CEO of the company. Ms. Stein holds a Bachelor's in Social Work. In 1992, Ms. Stein created ADA, Inc. She has developed and performed the company's Customer Service Sensitivity Programs. She heads the company human resource, policy development, event and convention planning and other related consulting services. Ms. Stein provides ADA Title 1 services to clients, and most recently completed a case with the New Orleans District Office of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission which was successfully litigated in court. She was accepted as an Expert in the Fifth Circuit Court as part of that case. This case and its subsequent rulings were recently published in WestLaw. Ms. Stein is sought out as a public speaker
on the ADA and has presented to more than 200 professional organizations across the United States. Ms. Stein is a regularly featured workshop presenter at the NFM & T Conference, National Association of ADA Coordinators(NAADAC) and the Facility Forum Conferences. She is on the faculty of Lorman Education Services, where she teaches full-day ADA seminars for attorneys, design and insurance professionals across the USA. She is a features writer on ADA issues for Building Operating Management Magazine, Maintenance Solution Magazine, and Today's Facility Manager Magazine.
Ms. Penny L. Reddy serves as Vice President and COO. Ms. Reddy is also certified as an Accessibility Inspector/Plans Inspector by the International Code Counsel. She serves as the hands-on project executive during large scale projects, as well as providing overall project life cycle management for all existing clients. Ms. Reddy has over 8 years of extensive ADA consulting experience. Her primary area of concentrated expertise has been in Title II and Title III of the ADA, where she has provided numerous agency or company trainings on ADAAG survey collection, expert witness services and attorney support, completed detailed site surveys and reports for thousands of facilities, as well as creating effective and compliant solutions for facility access. Her clients include such prominent companies as Philip Morris Management Corp.,
Blockbuster, Inc, Eckerd, REI, Office Max, Pennsylvania Lottery, PA Department of Public Welfare, Kansas State Fairgrounds, John Carroll University, and many others.
Mr. Clifford Payne serves as Vice President of Technical Assistance Services. He was certified as an Accessibility/Usability specialist in 1999 by the International Conference of Building Officials(ICBO). Mr. Payne maintained his certification when the ICBO certification was merged into the International Code Council certification for Accessibility Inspector/Plans Examiner.
