The Federal Fair Housing Act (FHA) prohibits discrimination on the basis of disability in all types of housing transactions.  As a developer, owner, realtor, manager, organization, or service provider of a residential property with four or more units, you have obligations.  The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has charged housing providers with unique compliance obligations to ensure that multifamily properties are accessible to and usable by prospective tenants and buyers with disabilities.  This session will assist you in understanding what you must do in order to provide equal access to those choosing to rent or buy in your properties, including:
